Edited by MilliOnAir Global Magazine Editor at large LAURIE STONE

What is your earliest memory of an act of positivity….
My earliest memory is from my childhood, when I was around five or six at school in London. It was a beautiful multiracial school. We all got on, we all had fun, we all treated each other the same, we basically didn’t know any different. I just remember everyone was so positive and it reflected in
my school work (I still have all my school books and reports), I was very artistic back then, even though it was only stick people and colorful crayon drawings,. So yes that was my first happy/ positive moment in my life. All though when I turned seven I moved to Somerset and it was a new journey and a little bit of a negative story, which one day I may talk about.

Why is Positivity as opposed to negativity important to you?
Positivity has been very important for me all my life. I have had way too much negativity growing up and on some occasions it nearly destroyed my soul. I, unfortunately attracted the wrong people into my life which in turn attracted bad situations, it was not until I was in my early forties that I realised I needed to detox myself from an awful lot of people to save my sanity and my health. It worked and almost instantly I had decent people surrounding me and I began to love myself again! I have never been so happy and it has helped so much by talking to like minded people who have had similar journeys and have woken up to the fact that POSITIVITY is part of the key to happiness.

“Happiness is a choice, not a result. Nothing will make you happy until you choose to be happy. No person will make you happy unless you decide to be happy. Your happiness will not come to you. It can only
come from you.”

Which positive person from history would you like to meet…

Confucius, his quotes are messages I live by every day. He was a Chinese teacher , editor , politician, and philosopher of the Spring
and Autumn period of Chinese history. The philosophy of Confucius, als known as Csonfucianisme, mphasizepdersonalnd
governmental morality, correctness of social relationships, justice and sincerity.

“It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you

do not stop” ― Confucius

What is the most positive piece of advice you pass on to people you meet….

So many people reach out to me now days and I must admit I am overwhelmed by the inspirational people I am connected too, more inspiring than me I must admit. They still ask me how I keep going, how I keep smiling. My advice to my self and others is… “Laugh, even when you want to cry, because laughing is the best way to get through life. Everything that seems big will be small one day.”

“Don’t take anything personally. Nothing other people do is actually about you. If we let what others say affect us, we set ourselves up for needless pain.”

How do you deal with negative people….

I DON’T any more! I used to talk for ages to people with negative thoughts and in the end I realised it drained the hell out of me! I had
to shut off from these people, now if anyone starts to talk or act negative, I smile and then run a mile!

What is the most positive song on your play list.

I have many on my playlist, but one tune keeps
popping up on my list which takes me back to when I was twelve living by these and it seemed the summer lasted forever and I think this was my
happiest moment in life, not a care in the world… The Style Council Long Hot Summer

What is the most positive film you have watched…

It has to be ” Pay it Forward” it still gives me goosebumps and an absolute happy feeling. It’s the story of a social studies teacher who gives an assignment to his junior high school class to think of an idea to change the world for the better, then put it into action. When one young student creates a plan for “paying forward” favors, he not only affects the life of his struggling single mother , but he sets
in motion an unprecedented wave of human kindness which, unbeknownst to him, has blossomed into profound national phenomenon.

What’s paying it forward?
That’s me.
And that’s three people.
And I’m going to help them, but it has to be something really big… …something they can’t do by themselves.
So I do it for them…

If you could sit down with four positive people who would they be and what qualities would they bring….

Number one has to be, RichardBranson, I have admired him since I can remember, I wrote to him when I was about fourteen telling him how much I admired him and saying one day I would love to work as a Virgin Air Hostess, he did write back to me thanking me (I lost the letter!), and I never made it as an air hostess! I follow him on Linkedin and read all his posts which inspire me everyday. ( I should write to him again and ask him if I can interview him!).

Life coach Tony Robbins who we got to interview for this very page #POSITIVITY , he just makes complete sense to me, I feel like I am in tune with everything that comes out of his mind. Actor and artist Anthony Hopkins who I met in LA a couple of years ago, he was the sweetest nicest person,
he is a truly talented actor and I absolutely love his art. Gary Vaynerchuck entrepreneur, author, speaker and internet personality. He does it right for me every time, he taught me most of what I
know now on how to ‘be’ on social media. Here is a great quote that popped up today from him;
”Your Grandparents went through war and the depression and now you are crying because you don’t have 1,000 followers? Get the f*ck out of here.”

Oprah WinfreySimply through being compassionate, caring and charitable, her ability to emotionally connect with people. She shares her wealth with those who need it most, having personally donated over $300 million to charitable causes. Oprah’s wealth and fame is certainly no accident, as she
believes that luck is simply “preparation meeting opportunity”.

There are more than this but these people all bring with them a sense of self, understanding, wisdom insight and observation of self and an openness to possibility and positivity for various reasons.

What is the most positive piece of of advice you have been given – when, where and by whom….

Actually a quote from a movie called Shadowlands a true story about C. S. Lewis with Anthony Hopkins, I am
not sure if it is a quote written into the movie or if it is actually a C.S Lewis quote

You know, I don’t want to be somewhere else anymore. I’m not waiting for anything new to happen…
not looking around the next corner and over the next hill. I’m here now. That’s enough.

This sums me up right now, after
years of running away, or searching
for something new, I am where I want to be and I am truly happy with
myself and what I am creating.

Do you get positivity from religion or spirituality….

I don’t actually believe in anything apart from what I see in real life with my own eyes. I am not a follower of anything, I have made my life on my own with tons of negativity along the way and I have managed to guide myself through all the ups and downs. So to answer the question… no I don’t get positivity from religion or spirituality, I only get positivity from my open mind, being myself and being around nature.

How do you react positively to fear….

I have trained my brain over the years not to fear anything or anyone, I have a very strong sense of being and I will never put myself in bad situations. So I laugh fear in the face, whether it has been for a job interview in the past, a bad situation with someone or a big meeting I have to go to. I just love life, it’s short it is sweet and I really don’t have time to fear.

Who is the most positive person in your life….

What is the key to you being resilient….

Again I have trained my brain over the years to switch off, walk away or ignore negative situations.
I have had to do it, as it has made me ill in the past, one such time was a couple of years ago, I could not speak or get my words out properly, I didn’t know why I just thought I was overtired. After three weeks of being like that I eventually went to the doctors, I told them all my symptoms and they
rushed me to hospital where I had hours of tests. I was later diagnosed with a TIA and they said it
was all due to stress. It has taken me at least two years to be able to talk properly again and get my confidence back.

What is your inspirational catchphrase….

”If you hear a voice within you say “you cannot paint,” then by all means paint and that voice will be silenced.”

Where in the world are you in your most positive state….

Where there is no noise apart from noises from nature. Earth and sky, woods and fields, lakes and rivers, the mountain and the sea, are excellent schoolmasters, and teach some of us more than we can ever learn from being around noise. But I must admit the sea is my life and I have to be near
it, I grew up in a seaside town. I will retire one day in Malibu that is my most positive place I need and want to be, I have visited more time than I can remember and I feel like it is m y next home.

Los Angeles

If you could be known for one positive achievement in your life what would it be….

MilliOnAir Magazine! I have put my heart and soul into this magazine and I have attracted so many talented people into the business from all over the world, I receive hundreds of positive comments every month. It is my life and I love it…We will be launching in USA next year.

In what way have you felt loved in your life…. happen…not looking around the next corner and over the next hill.

When I stopped looking for love and fell in love I’m here now. That’s enough. with myself found myself.

If you were a superpower leader what positive act would you give to the world….

To stop unnecessary torture and killing of all animals, I have watched way too many videos and it has woken me up to helping as much as I possibly can either through signing a legitimate petition, donating money or sharing a video. Animals cannot speak up for themselves, but I can speak up for them.

Whattimeofthedaydoyoufindthemost positive….

Any time of the day, I am in the office everyday and I have to brainstorm with myself or my team all the time, I have ideas flying at me from all directions. Positivity is my key.

What aspect of your own positivity or negativity would you change….

I am at a point in my life where I do not need to change anything. Like I said in my quote earlier… You know, I don’t want to be somewhere else anymore. I’m not waiting for anything new to happen…
not looking around the next corner and over the next hill. I’m here now. That’s enough.
